The Fall Dinner menu is live at Prose Kitchen & Bar. As always, it's California seasonality with global influences — new dishes built around what's at its peak right now, alongside the guest favorites we'd be in trouble for taking away.

New this fall: to start

The raw bar side of the menu turns crisp and orchard-driven: Hamachi Crudo with green apple, yuzu and apple sorrel, and Charred Radicchio & Persimmon with Asian pear, shiso and toasted sesame. On the richer end, Gussin's Oysters Rockefeller arrive over corn spoonbread with creamed mustard greens, country ham and hot honey, and Lamb Ribs al Pastor get an achiote glaze with pineapple-habanero salsa. Seared Hokkaido scallops with 'nduja butter and chicken liver mousse with spiced pear jam round out the opening chapter.

Pasta, the Prose way

Crab Rangoon Tortelli — Dungeness crab, chile-crab butter, scallion — joins French Onion Cavatelli with caramelized onion, Comté and sherry. And yes, the Short Rib Rolled Lasagna stays. It has been one of our best sellers for over a year, and the portion is still deliberately enormous.

Mains built for fall

New arrivals include Tamarind-Glazed Duck with honeynut squash and tamarind-habanero jus, Lobster Pot Pie with cognac-miso shellfish cream under a cheddar-chive biscuit, and a plant-based Mushroom Birria with cashew crema and crispy rice. Returning anchors: Miso-Glazed Black Cod, Roasted Mary's Chicken, the 14 oz Prime New York Strip, Olivia's Burger, and the Chateaubriand for Two — Australian Wagyu, carved for the table.

The Prose Tasting

The guided menu continues at $79 for three courses or $99 for four, per guest, with a wine pairing at +$55 and a 10 g Osetra caviar supplement at +$45. It's the best way to read the whole menu in one sitting.

Pasta Night, Sunday–Thursday

Our Pasta Night prix fixe runs Sunday through Thursday: three courses for $49 per guest, with the Short Rib Rolled Lasagna available as an upgrade.
