Pasta Night in Woodland Hills starts at Prose Kitchen & Bar this week. Every Sunday through Thursday at dinner, we serve a three-course menu built around the pasta we make in-house every day, for $49 per guest.

What's on the Pasta Night menu

To start, choose one:

• Little Gem Caesar with parmesan, ciabatta crumbs, and lemon
• Whipped Ricotta & Stone Fruit with Calabrian chile oil, Lucky Bee Ranch honey, hazelnut, and grilled bread

Housemade pasta, choose one:

• Heirloom Tomato Spaghetti: garlic, basil, stracciatella, Calabrian chile, olive oil
• Bottarga Carbonara: bigoli, pancetta, pecorino, egg yolk, lemon, black pepper
• Sweet Corn Ravioli: lobster Américaine, confit cherry tomatoes, lemon basil
• Short Rib Rolled Lasagna (+$8): braised short rib, mascarpone, ricotta, tomato sugo, pecorino crumbs

To share: Chef's seasonal dessert, one for every two guests. Our desserts are made for the middle of the table.

Why pasta, and why weeknights

Pasta is where Chef David Gussin's cooking is most personal: California produce, global technique, and a few detours along the way, like the bottarga in the carbonara or the lobster Américaine under the corn ravioli. Pasta Night puts those dishes at the center of a relaxed weeknight dinner, the kind of night you can decide on at 5 PM.

Pair it with the bar

Our bartenders and servers can point you to a glass that fits your pasta, from a bright white with the tomato spaghetti to something with more structure for the short rib. Happy Hour also runs Sunday–Thursday from 4:30 to 6 PM in the bar, lounge, and patio if you want to start early.

How to book Pasta Night

Pasta Night is available Sunday through Thursday during dinner. Reserve on our reservations page and choose the Pasta Night experience, or just ask for it when you sit down. You pay at the restaurant. The full dinner menu is always available too.

Prose is at 21150 Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills, an easy drive from Tarzana, Encino, West Hills, and Calabasas, with a private lot half a block behind the restaurant.

Weekends: The Prose Brunch

On Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 2 PM, we serve The Prose Brunch: $68 per guest for an Opening Chapter, a brunch entrée, Something Sweet for the table, and a Brunch Bar drink. Add the 90-Minute Pour for $35 (house) or $45 (cocktails). More in our FAQ.
